The Train the Trainer – Lockout Tagout (LOTO) course is designed for
individuals who aim to become certified instructors in energy isolation safety procedures.
This program offers in-depth knowledge of LOTO practices used to control
hazardous energy during maintenance and servicing of equipment. Participants
will learn about regulatory compliance, risk reduction, procedural development,
and the correct use of locks and tags. Additionally, the course focuses on
instructional strategies, adult learning principles, and communication
techniques to ensure participants can confidently deliver engaging and
effective LOTO training in various industries.
This qualification is
assessed through practical evaluations and Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
Learners must attain the required passing scores in both assessments to receive
certification.
The recommended duration for this qualification is 7 days. This period may be extended to accommodate additional learning needs, but it cannot be shortened.
